10mm PVC Fascia Capping board

10mm Capping Boards or Plastic Fascias are available in 2.5 & 5M lengths with widths of 150mm, 175mm, 200mm, 225mm, 250mm, 300mm & 400mm.These boards are used for over capping existing wooden fascia, providing the timbers are in a good state of repair, boards are usually pinned over the top using Polytop Pins. Some sites offering 7 & 9mm cappit boards advise that they are for use as replacement fascia, we advise all our customer that cappit board is for over capping the existing wooden fascia. These boards will bow when fixed directly to the roof rafters. Always use 16 or 17mm boards for new installations.

Over Fascia Ventilation

Over Fascia Vents are used to allow ventilation over the fascia board in to the loft / roof space on both new build and refurbishment. Allowing the flow of air at 25,000mm2 and 10,000mm2 per metre respectively.

Nailing guides and stops ensure accurate fixing to fascia the rounded front section prevents blocking of airflow from overlapping felt or plastic felt replacement.

AIRFLOW:
10mm = 10,000mm2 per metre.
25mm = 25,000mm2 per metre.

uPVC Felt Replacements

uPVC Felt Replacement has been designed to fit under the existing felt on the bottom row of roof tiles and saves the cost of having to have the felt replaced. Most properties suffer water damage caused by the felt rotting through and then dropping inside the fascia. These replacements either over-lap or inter-lock and sit directly on top of the fascia and the lip is designed to sit in the gutter. They are available in 3 different types giving a low cost replacement option or for venting roof spaces where required.
