The Peak self-supporting glazing bar is decades old now, but still highly regarded by many users for its good looks and cleaver engineering and this is borne out by the customer reviews. The bar is designed to self-support up to 4M when fixed at both ends, can take 16mm & 25mm polycarbonate sheets and has a dedicated wall-plate and bead section to accompany it. The bar consists of an aluminium structural core, 2 PVC uni glazing beads, PVC top cap and a PVC bottom cap. The peak glazing bar allows one sheet in the roof to be glazed at a time thanks to the 2 separate glazing beads instead of a single top cap and has one of the largest a thermal break bottom caps making it ideal for conservatories. The glazing bar is fixed into position using the specifically designed pivot mount system that allows a wide range of angles fastens to the wall-plate and beam sections.
