3M x 25mm Universal Fortex Vented Starter Trim

These 3M long vented starter trims for cladding are used at the bottom. the first cladding board is hooked on to the trim working from the bottom up. The battens attached to the wall should not touch the ground to prevent rot and the ventilation strip part of the trim laps under the bottom of the batten. The vented starter features a standard vent trim giving a 25mm air gap to allow ventilation at the back of the cladding boards. When the cladding boards are fitted the trim can not be seen as it sits up from the bottom edge of the board Please Note this trims comes in various colours due to the manufacturing process
