Collection Gillingham

Ordering is easiest online where you can select either delivery or collection (Gillingham Depot Only). If you are not sure what you need then please call 01634 374444 or email in to cs@cabp.co.uk with your name and contact number and one of our team will get back to you. Our team at the Gillingham depot can be busy at certain times of the day but you can order on our trade counter and wait sometimes the staff might be picking orders booked for collections and deliveries so wait times may vary depending on the size and complexity of your order. The trade counter is operating a red and green light system, and only allowing maximum of 2 people per postion on the trade counter, this means a maximum of 4 members of public in the showroom at any one time and is to keep everyone covid safe. Customers are advised to follow the signage in the carpark, and please be patient. ALL customers are asked to continue to wear a face covering when in store.

 

Collection London

The Canning Town depot is open Monday to Fridays and gets very busy at certain periods. The London branch does not hold stock of all materials, so customers are advised to email in, or phone in 0207 474 0474, to check before arriving.  The Gillingham depot has the bulk of our stock-holding and provides all the deliveries (the Gillingham, Kent depot is about 45 mins drive from the London depot).

 

Deliveries

Ordering is easiest to be done online (delivery or collection). If you are not sure what you need then please email in to cs@cabp.co.uk or call 01634 37 4444. If we can not take your call then please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can. Please be patient as leaving multiple messages delays us in responding to you and will move your enquiry down the list as they are treated as a new enquiry.
 

We are still running with reduced capacity due to staffing levels and social distancing guidance so delivery time scales are NOT as they would be under normal circumstances. We will be managing all orders on oldest first and the best optimised route to maximise capacity.

 

All customers are advised to allow up to 20 days for delivery whilst we build more capacity into our delivery service. Your order may arrive by carrier or post if its possible to send it by this method of delivery and this will be within a few days.
 

We are unable to give any advance lead times however you will be contacted once your delivery has been scheduled. Our team are extremely busy and working through a high volume of orders so please wait for your emails to be responded to as sending multiple enquires moves your email to the bottom of the list by the computer as they are seen as new enquiries with a more recent time stamp (so it is counter-productive).
 

Delivery Symbols / Colours

We colour code each sku code that you can order to classify the level of difficulty in delivering the item. This the also then affects the charge for delivering the item, but is a good indication of the size vehicle you wil need to collect from the store. On the website we have gone further and made these more depictive in the type of sumble:

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the items ordered and the location of the delivery address. 90% of deliveries are made within 5 days and 98% of deliveries are made within 8 days and on occasions a small number may take a little longer but this is normally due to things like severe weather events. Most of our products are delivered on our own specially designed delivery vehicles this gives us greater control over delivery times and helps to prevent damage. We do use carriers to deliver some items as this can sometimes be the quickest method, unfortunately many items are not suitable due to their size and the possibility of damage.
 

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are applied to all orders. These charges are added automatically depending on your postcode you can estimate your delivery costs by entering your postcode at the shopping basket stage and clicking "FIND". The charge will then be shown in the order summary totals. Your final order total including delivery charges will be shown once you have registered your address but before you make a payment, no additional charges are added once you make your payment.

Our vehicles that are covering distance areas (everything but the white zone shown below) traditionally leave on the Monday morning for the whole week. If you order at the weekend we will try and get your order processed and on the vehicle in time to leave by 9am Monday morning. We cannot guarantee every order is processed in time but we will always prioritise these orders.

If you are unsure then please call 01634 374444 for more delivery information. We deliver to most of the UK Mainland however the following postcodes areas are by quotation only AB, BT, GY,HS,IM, IV,JE,KW, PA, PH,PO30 -PO41 & ZE.

Delivery charges are based on the largest item in your shopping basket; if you have a copy of our latest catalogue then you will find the product price tables all have a colour code to help calculate the price.

Delivery System

Due to physical size of the products we supply these have to schedule into a delivery run on the appropriate vehicle. We optimise all orders to ensure the most economical and environmentally friendly routes; this means that your order may take more than 7 days to arrive. We cover most of the UK once a week but outlying areas might be every two weeks depending on the time of year and what day you place your order. Sometimes orders are dispatched within a day or two depending on when you place it.

Next Day Delivery

Some Items can be sent via NEXT DAY delivery, if it is possible then you will have the option to choose this at the checkout. We use UPS to send these items and they cover most of the UK however some remote areas can take longer. Please note orders need to be paid and processed by 2pm to ensure they are packed and ready for dispatch. NEXT DAY is considered as the next working day, weekends and bank holidays are not considered as working days. If you are unsure or would like to enquire about a next day delivery then please call 01634 374444 and someone will be able to provide you with a price.


Remote Area Deliveries

Delivery to Northern Ireland the surrounding isles and Northern Scotland is possible and we advise customers to contact us directly, you can still add items to your basket and register but DO NOT make a payment. We will then be able to view your order and price it for delivery.


Booking of Contractors

We advise customers that they do not book any contractors until they have received their order, checked it through and ensured it is correct to their requirements.


Returns: 

 The customer is resposible for returns of any materials they do not require. Returns will be accepted within 14 days of the order and MUST BE in a saleable condition. If you wish to return materials then these will be inspected before acceptance and if the items are not in an as-new condition then a refund will not be issued. A 20% restocking fee applies plus a £10 admin charge to ALL returns. Items that are manufactured to order, ordered in specially to request, or customised can not be returned.
