Corrugated Roof Sheets in Brief
Corrugated sheet is the term used to describe a sheet that undulates across its width. This is most common in roofing sheets and commercial cladding, where the corrugation provides the sheet with rigidity in one direction (along the corrugations) so that it can span between supports.
Corrugated sheets come in a wide range of profile shapes, sizes, colours and materials and is considered a very traditional roofing material. We sell a large number of the different variations, from the original PVC and steel sheets to the more modern polycarbonate multi layered corrugated sheets.
Key considerations when installing corrugated sheets:
- What is the substructure.
- Does the sheeting / roof need ventilation.
- How much overlap is required on this installation.
- Which way should the corrugated shets lap to prevent wind lift and rain ingress.
- Should they be crown fixed (most lightweight sheets), or valley fixed (often steel box profile sheets).
