16mm polycarbonate sheets are suitable for building many structures including carports, conservatories, walkway roofs and much more, with better rigidity than 10mm polycarbonate to allow for larger spans between rafters.

16mm polycarbonate sheets are the best balance between strength and cost for a carport and is why we use it in our dedicated Sanctuary Canopy roofing system.

These Lexan 16mm polycarbonate sheets have 9 walls which gives them greater structural cross bracing that the traditional 3 wall structure, and more air cavities for improved insulation. These sheets also have the UV stabilisation coating on both sides of the sheet, which helps prevent problems from sheets being installed upside down by accident.
