Soudafoam Gun Window & Door XTRA – 750ml

High‑performance low‑expansion PU foam for window & door installation

Product Overview

Soudafoam Gun Window & Door XTRA is a professional‑grade, one‑component, moisture‑curing polyurethane foam designed for precision installation of windows, doors, and construction joints. Thanks to its Duravalve technology, it maintains optimal yield throughout its entire shelf life—even when stored or transported lying down.
The foam offers excellent stability, no shrinkage or post‑expansion, and high insulation properties, making it ideal for installers who require reliability and efficiency on every job.

 Key Features

  • Excellent dimensional stability – no shrinkage or post‑expansion
  • Low expansion for controlled, accurate application
  • High filling capacity for efficient gap and cavity filling
  • Strong adhesion to most building materials (except PE, PP, PTFE)
  • Superior thermal & acoustic insulation
  • Very good bonding strength
  • Moisture‑curing formula for quicker performance
  • Duravalve ensures consistent yield throughout product life

Ideal Applications

  • Installing and insulating mechanically fixed window and door frames
  • Filling cavities and structural openings
  • Sealing gaps and openings in roof constructions
  • Creating acoustic barriers
  • Improving thermal insulation in cooling and HVAC systems

Technical Performance

  • Skin formation: 6 minutes (EN 17333‑3)
  • Cutting time: 20 minutes (EN 17333‑3)
  • Thermal conductivity: 0.036 W/m·K (EN 17333‑5)
  • Sound insulation: 58 dB (EN ISO 717‑1)
  • Density: ~20 kg/m³
  • Joint yield: approx. 31 m of foam (750 ml can)
  • Box yield: approx. 42 L of foam (750 ml can)
  • Shrinkage after curing: <3%
  • Expansion during curing: ~15%
  • No expansion after full cure
  • Temperature resistance: –40°C to +90°C

How to Use

  1. Shake the can for at least 20 seconds before attaching to a foam gun.
  2. Ensure surfaces are clean, grease‑free, and dust‑free.
  3. Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer to improve adhesion and cure profile.
  4. Fill cavities to 80%, allowing for expansion.
  5. Shake regularly during use.
  6. For layered application, moisten between layers.
  7. Remove fresh foam with Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner.
  8. Cured foam must be removed mechanically or with Soudal PU‑Remover.
  9. Recommended working temperatures:
    • Can: +5°C to +30°C
    • Ambient: 0°C to +30°C
    • Surface: 0°C to +35°C

Safety & Handling

  • Wear gloves and goggles during use
  • Only use in well‑ventilated areas
