Acoustic Slat Panel Installation Instructions Tools and materials required

Construction adhesive (such as Fix-All nails or similar) Screws and anchors (appropriate for your wall type)

Screwdriver or drill Measuring tape Level Pencil Utility knife or saw (for cutting panels to size if required)

    Caulk gun (for adhesive)

    Step-by-step Guide

    1. Preparation  Clean the walls: Make sure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. This ensures better adhesion. Measure the wall: Measure the area where you plan to install the panels to determine the layout and how many panels youll need. Mark the layout: Use a pencil and level to mark the placement of each panel on the wall. This will help you position the panels correctly.

    2. Cutting panels (if required)  Measure and mark: Measure the panels and mark where they need to be cut. Cut the panels: Use a utility knife or saw to cut the panels to the desired size. Be sure to cut on a stable surface and wear safety gear.

    3. Applying adhesive  Load the caulk gun: Insert the construction adhesive into the caulk gun. Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the back of the acoustic panel. Create a zigzag pattern or apply dots of adhesive around the edges and centre of the panel.

    4. Placing the panels  Carefully place the panel onto the wall according to your layout marks. Press the panel firmly against the wall to ensure good adhesion. Hold it in place for a minute or so to

    5. Securing with screws  Mark screw locations: Mark the locations where you will insert screws. Aim for corners and the centre of the panel. If youre installing on drywall or a similar surface, drill pilot holes for the screws. Insert screws: Insert screws through the panel into the wall. If youre using anchors, insert them first, then screw into the anchors. Ensure the screws are tight but not so tight that they deform the panel.

    6. Finishing touches  Wipe off any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out from behind the panels. By following these steps, you should be able to install your acoustic panelling effectively.  Useful tips Work with a partner Its easier to position and secure panels accurately with two people.

Check for level Use a level frequently to ensure panels are straight. Test the adhesive on a small section to make sure it holds well before proceeding with the entire installation. Good luck with your project!
