3.5M Peak Self-Supporting Glazing Bar
The Peak glazing bar is a self-supporting system capable of spanning 4M when fixed at both ends. It can sustain 16mm and 25mm polycarbonate roofing sheets. With a dedicated wall-plate and beam section to accompany it, allowing for complete structures to be built. This bar has a load-bearing high quality aluminium core. This aspect aids in making the bar stronger, and more durable. All of this is concealed behind UPVC capping, improving thermal insulation as well as aiding visual aesthetic. This bar also has additional flashing and mounting parts available.
As standard, this bar is used as a central joint bar. However, if meaning to be used as an edge bar, a separate trim is required.
This bar allows one sheet in the roof to be glazed at a time thanks to the 2 separate glazing beads, opposed to the single top cap. It’s thermal break bottom caps make it extremely efficient for use in conservatories.
